THE HOLY SPIRIT IS GOD’S SUBMARINE!

God tells us that there are two types of Christians.

1 Cor 2:14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

15 But he that is spiritual discerns all things, yet he himself is discerned by no man.

THERE IS THE NATURAL, THE PSYCHIKOS OR PSYCHOLOGICAL MAN.

This is the man of the soul or psuche, who works by his mind, emotions.

THEN THERE IS THE SPIRITUAL MAN OR THE PNEUMATIKOS MAN WHO IS THE MAN OF THE SPIRIT, WIND, AIR, OR BREATH.

So the Christian should not function by his mind, or emotions, but by the wind of the Spirit.

Why?

1 Cor 2:9 But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God.

“SEARCHES” IS WHAT SONAR IN A SUBMARINE DOES AS IT SOUNDS OUT HOW DEEP THE OCEAN BOTTOM IS AND RELAYS IT TO THE CREW.
TO REVEAL, IS TO LIFT THE COVER FROM THE POT AND TO SEE WHAT IS COOKING!

The Holy Spirit takes off the lid from the pot which contains God’s riches as it sounds out the very depths of God, and reports the riches at the ocean bottom back to us.

The psychological Christian does not have the sonar the sounds out and uncovers the deep things of God.

He only has his thoughts.

Cheers!
