John 1:12 But as many ( Hosoi) as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Hosoi, is a majestic Greek word. It is defined as whosever, whatsoever, wherever, or as many as.
This displays to us the incredible, universal, without attention to race, nationality or socio economic classes, welcoming by an opened arm God, to receive infinite eternal benefactions, right here and right now.
Some will ask me, “Well what about the Hindu, or Muslim or Buddhist?” Quite honestly, I don’t know, I am not God. Jesus welcomes everybody to come to Him.
But what about you, whatsoever, whosever, whomever, or wherever you are, who still challenges God upon some theological misnomer, what about you receiving the universal welcome which God is offering today?
Don’t worry so much about the rest of the world and be sure that you don’t neglect this welcome!
You are not God, and I am not either.
Let God worry about those things.
Rom 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Our mortal flesh is not bad. It’s the vehicle which God uses to make His invisibility, visible.
It is the law of sin and death using sin in the flesh as a base of operation, that is bad.
But did you notice that Christ rendered a condemnatory verdict to sin in the flesh, that is, so that the flesh now free from sin can manifest the righteousness or the visibility of the invisible God to the world?
2Co 4:11 For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh .
Gal 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
So the flesh is not bad. It’s the vehicle of manifestation which God uses when the sin in it has been put to death by the cross of Christ.
2 Peter 1:13 Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance;
The great I Am lives in human mortal and fleshly tabernacles.
The great I am, is the I am that I am, or the I that will be, what I will be.
Independent, transcendental, self-sufficient, labeless, becoming all things at one time, because He lives in timelessness, and what He wishes to be, He is, is the I Am in you.
This is the I am, the who you are, in your human, fleshly body.
Be careful not to say, I am depressed, or poor, or sick.
That is the function of the Me, but not the I. The I in you is, God, the I Am.
Heb 1:3 Who being the brightness ( apaugasma: a light source, a light bulb) of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
The I am in you is Christ the light bulb of God’s glory emanating His light in you as He sits on His throne of Glory. You simply display the activity of this glory, of one sitting and reigning and upholding all things, through your sanctified flesh.
And now you can, because sin in the flesh has crucified and voided.
Your flesh is not a base of operation for sin but now a base of operation for the manifestation of God.
Separate the I from the Me, then.
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Greek: And God was the Logos
John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
“The Logos which was in the beginning has now become; the Logos which was God became flesh; the Logos that was with God has set up his tabernacle among us.” Pulpit Commentary
The eternal Logos, who is God in His eternal habitation of glory, became flesh in Jesus Christ.
To become, implies that what will become and does become, has a starting point when it started to become, and from where right before this starting point, it was not.
The eternal Logos, becoming in the flesh tells us that what is, and who is God, can become in the flesh of man.
God eternal, invisible, became God in the flesh of Jesus.
For the Christian, because sin has been condemned in the flesh, the eternal Logos, can also become God in the flesh of the believer.
Mind, you, the Christian is not God.
But the potential for the invisible God to become and manifest Himself in the flesh of a sanctified person is here. Of course it will not happen on earth, because people die.
The fullness of this manifestation will eternally become in the timelessness of heaven through the glorified bodies of the saints.
But the availability of our sanctified flesh, right now and right here, to manifest as much as it can of the God who wants to become through your flesh, is here.
For sure, there is starting point in our fleshly and mortal bodies for God to start to become.
How far do you want God to become through you here and now, is up to you. God can become as much or as little as what you want Him to become.
Do not short change yourself and your possibilities in God, through the limits of religion or the culture of the Christian ghetto.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
Greek: all things through Him became, and apart from Him became not even the tiniest thing which has now fully become.
And all this, God wants to become through the sanctified flesh of man. Once again, God won’t become to the place of fully becoming on this side of the bye and bye, but you dare not limit God!
With all respect to all religious leaders, Buddha, Mohammed, and Krishna, might in some ways shed light as witnesses to different angles of God, in their mortal flesh.
Jesus Christ, as a religious leader in the flesh though, became God, or had the eternal God fully become in His flesh. No other religious leader claimed this.
Therefore, Jesus Christ has created a new superhuman generation of humanity. This is Christianity!
We must stop playing church and be transformed into this new humanity.
14 And the Word was made ( became) flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
He dwells or pitches His tent in us, so that He can become manifested and in manifestation through our flesh. The dwelling among us, is for the purpose of His manifestation through us as He becomes through us.
Notice that John does not use the word body, because there can be a body without flesh, such as a spiritual body.
This is the great purpose of man’s flesh in which sin has been condemned through the cross of Christ.
14 And the Word was made ( became) flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
The only begotten: literally monogenes or of one sole genetic channel.
Remember the difference between monos and stereo?
Stereos is two channels while monos is only one channel.
The monos essence, nature or genetics of God, whose essence and genetics, only He has, in contradistinction to the essence or genetics of every other created being, can only be manifested by the One who monos genetically or monos essentially displays Him, because He is monos begotten of Him.
Genes comes from the word ginomai which is to become.
So the monogenes Son from the Father, in his flesh, mono genetically allows the monos God to become.
13 Which were born (became), not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
In the flesh of the believer, this monogenetic God becomes displayed, because the Christian is now part of this mono genetic superhuman race, not birthed from the genetic blood of unredeemed humanity, or the unredeemed genetic flesh of a father and mother, but through the monogenetics belonging only to God.
John 6:53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.
54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
The flesh and the blood belonging to Jesus is mono genetic, in that it carries the genetics which makes God to be God and display God as God, in contradistinction to any other created being.
This is why the flesh of Jesus is true food and the blood of Jesus is true drink.
Joh 6:51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh , which I will give for the life of the world.
Ga 5:24 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
And now our crucified flesh is a slave to righteousness.
Righteousness has different definitions, all of them correct.
One of these, is the absolute perfections of who the invisible God is, revealed visibly.
Justification is the fact of being totally forgiven and rendered as innocent and pure as God is, and because of that, to be accounted worthy not just to manifest the righteousness of God, but to be a righteousness of God in Christ.
This righteousness is displayed through our mortal flesh. The flesh which has been crucified as to sin, is now used as a vehicle of God’s righteousness.
These are the essential questions.
Who are you in Christ?
What do your chromosomes look like?
What is the DNA of your chromosomal structure?
And if you have the genetics belonging to God, what do you become, even here on earth?
