God Has Always Been In Need of Land!

God Has Always Been In Need of Land!

Luke 17:20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:

Luke 17:21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

In the OT God desired to have a land.

He has always been in need of a land.

in this case it was Canaan from which His kingdom could work freely and bring His glory upon the earth.

Joshua’s commission was to drive out the evil inhabitants of the land so that the land of Canaan could be cleared, and the uncontested rule of God could take place, and the knowledge of God could be seen on the earth.

1 John 5:19 And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.

Today, God does not have a land from where His kingdom’s works can be launched.

The Christian believer is His individual piece of land.

The church is His corporate land.

Relative to how free the believer is, defines the proportional success of God’s kingdom being displayed on the earth, or its lack thereof.

No more and no less.
