Faith Out of the Great Book On Faith!

Faith Out of the Great Book On Faith!

What book is that?

It’s the book of Hebrews!

Hebrews 4:2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

“Mixed with faith” is just like  the mixing of alloys in equal proportions to produce a metal.

God honors faith more than needs.

God will answer the prayers of a wealthy person who has great faith before that of a person in need of money but with great doubt.

We can hear God’s Word of promise to us, but must mix it in equal parts with faith to receive.

Hebrews 6:12 That ye be not slothful (sluggard), but followers (mimics) of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

Slothful is the word sluggard.

There is not time for spiritual laziness in God’s kingdom.

Put your best work daily for the Lord Jesus!

Impact your world.

The word followers is the Greek word “mimetes,” from where our word mimic comes from.

By the voice of the Holy Spirit we are to mimic the Lord Jesus in all the we do.

1Co 4:16 Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers <3402> of me.

1Co 11:1 Be ye followers <3402> of me, even as I also am of Christ.

Eph 5:1 Be ye <3402> therefore followers <3402> of God, as dear children;

1Th 1:6 And ye became followers <3402> of us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Ghost:

1Th 2:14 For ye, brethren, became followers <3402> of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they have of the Jews:

Heb 6:12 That ye be not slothful, but followers <3402> of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

1Pe 3:13 And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers <3402> of that which is good?

Above are other references to the word mimetes.

The number 3402 is the Strong’s Concordance number.

The Strong’s is the world’s second most important book in the world.

I suggest that you learn how to use it, it will change your life!

Hebrews 10:38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

Now my righteous person shall live by faith as the root source of his life. If he draws back in fear my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

The fullness of God’s pleasure is only seen when we live by faith.

He has no pleasure when we shrink back in doubt and choose not to step out and walk on water with Him.

With what is occurring in the world, Christians must get off their spiritual butts and step out of the boat.

Heb 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Now faith is the title-deed of things hoped for, and the full assurance of things that it is impossible for us to see in the present as being given to us.

2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.

The ancient men of God through faith so lived that they obtained a good witness.

If we want to have a good witness before the Lord Jesus it only comes when we live a life of faith.

Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed (equipped) by the rhema word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

The worlds were framed by the rhema word of God, which is the voice of the Holy Spirit, so that the things that we presently see with our eyes were made out of things which cannot be seen by the eye.

In other words, God always creates what is physically evident to us, out of things which are physically invisible, through the voice of the Holy Spirit.

The word “framed” is the same word used for the mending of the fishing nets by the apostle Peter.

It is also defined as the full equipping of an army towards the successful carrying out of a mission.

The “framing” of the United States armed forces in the Persian Gulf Crisis tells us that they were furnished with the quality and measure of armaments, food, gear, and clothing that were needed to give them a complete victory.

Whatever we need from the Lord, listen to what His voice is saying. Then speak it,, frame it,  believe it, and act on it.

You will frame the invisible and through faith, believing, patience. and Holy Spirit, bring it to pass.

Framing faith is placing an invisible picture frame around something that you need from Jesus.

God cannot and will not fail you.

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Without faith there is a vacuum of dunamis power or ability to please God.

In other words, what gives God the ability to work on our behalf is our faith.

God can work without it, but many times chooses not to.

Hebrews 11:7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

Being divinely instructed and admonished about the things that he could not see with the human eyes

“The things yet not seen”was what was well-known to Noah, or what had a three-dimensional substance to him.

The physical world acquired no reality or became simply two-dimensional.

Is that how you live?

8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.

He was called in the now.

God is always calling us right here, and now.

He obeyed- Greek: “a military submission to hearing.”

Is this how we obey God?

He went out, “not knowing”: Having nothing in the physical realm which was set and standing before him so that he could grasp and follow.

He had no acquaintance with what God had called him to do.

This is how God is calling us today.

27 By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.

Moses dominated and endured in his trials by seeing with discernment in the Spirit what was invisible or void of discernment in the natural or to the human eye. His substance was the voice of the Holy Spirit.

The natural world was not a reality to him.

Hebrews 11:29 By faith they passed through (An exhaustive stepping into through) the Red sea as by dry land: (just like if going through dry land) which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned. (Were swallowed up; the outcome of having no faith).

When you step out in faith, you step out into invisible dry land.

Hebrews 11:30 By faith (instrumentality of faith) the walls of Jericho fell down; after they were compassed about (encircled upon) seven days.

Hebrews 11:31 By faith the harlot Rahab perished not (In absolutely no way was destroyed together; the outcome of faith) with them that believed not (non-compliant or unpersuadable to the voice of God; non-Christians and Christians alike), when she had received the spies with peace.

Hebrews 11:33 Who through faith subdued (overcame after contending in a military battle or contest) kingdoms, wrought (worked out to the point of complete accomplishment) righteousness, obtained promises, stopped (blocked, stopped and closed up) the mouths of lions,

34 Quenched the violence of fire (The inherent power of fire), escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong (Went diametrically from the point of infirmity and weakness to the point of being strengthened with God’s ability), waxed valiant in fight, (received adequate strength to contend in war) turned to flight the armies of the aliens.
