The World of The Blood!

What is the world of the blood of Jesus?

Greek nouns are defined by what cases they are found in.

There are the nominative, genitive, accusative, dative, vocative and ablative cases.

The genitive designates the noun when it possesses something.

Matt 1:18  Now the birth of Jesus Christ was like this: After His mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found pregnant by the Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ is in the genitive case because it’s His birth which is described.

Matt 8:25 Then the disciples came and awoke Him, saying, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!”

The pronoun “us” in “save us” is in the accusative case.

The accusative is just what it says.

The accusing finger points away to someone or something upon where the action is directed.

That someone or something is the goal and result of the action.

Jesus’ disciples demand Him to focus on and save them

In panic, they require Jesus to point His energies upon them.

Their saving from the storm is to be Jesus’ goal and result.

Luke 22:20 Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you.

In My blood is in the dative case.

The dative case defines the noun in terms of where it’s located.

Location and instrumentality work together.

The dative is called the case of location and instrumentality.

Where something is located, its location will influence and modify it.

A cucumber located for a while in a vinegar solution, will have the vinegar instrumentally work back through and pickle it.

Because we are located in the earth, the earth works instrumentally back through us.

The internet, electronics, ISIS, and politicians all dramatically change our lives.

Luke 22:20 Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you.

The New Covenant is located in the blood, or more accurately in the world of the blood of Jesus.

As long as we maintain ourselves in obedience to the New Testament we automatically live inside the world of the blood of Jesus Christ.

The world of the blood then works instrumentally back through us to affect us with all of its benefits.

You and I plea the blood of Jesus daily, and rightfully so.

More powerful though is to know that we live constantly inside the world of the blood of Jesus and can claim all the benefits of the blood.

This is the world of the blood of Jesus!
