Rev 1:16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth came a sharp two-edged sword: and his face was like the sun shining in its strength.
Our faces are mirrors of our souls.
Many of our faces exhibit pain, rejection, and insecurity.
But look at the face of the resurrected Christ in the above verse.
It’s the face of the unclouded sun, shining in all of its strength.
Can you look at the sun and not go blind?
Have we being co raised with Christ?
It’s reasonable then that our face should reflect an unclouded soul brightly discharging the glory of Christ.
Alas, how desperately we need our minds renewed by the Word of God.
One bad thing that the social media has created, is make us into entertainment hogs who laugh at dumb You Tube videos behind this face of pain and sickness.
If wed watch less and study God’s Word more, we could manifest a face like the sun shining in all of its strength. It’s called the face of Christ.
