THE CHURCH IS ENGINEERED TO MANIFEST GOD’S GLORY
Eph 3:21 to Him be glory in the church in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
The church is the main universal institution that can manifest the glory of God.
THE CHURCH IS THE REPRODUCER OF HEAVEN’S BLUEPRINTS
Heb 8:5 who serve a copy and shadow of the heavenly things, just as Moses had been warned when he was about to complete the tabernacle, for He says, “See, you shall make all things according to the pattern shown to you on the mountain.”
The church is created to reproduce the copies of the realities of heaven upon the earth.
THE CHURCH IS THE FULLNESS OF GOD
Eph 1:22 And He subjected all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church,
23 which is His body, the fullness of Him filling all things in all.
The fullness of God is the essence, the reality, and the evidence of who God is. It’s every attribute which is required, to make God, God.
THE CHURCH GIVES EVIDENCE TO WHO GOD IS
Exo 25:22 And I will meet with you there, and I will talk with you from above the mercy-seat, from between the two cherubs on the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give you in commandment to the sons of Israel.
The church can declare Christ Jesus with sufficient evidence so that world’s jury can accept or reject Him.
THE CHURCH IS THE BODY OF CHRIST
Eph 1:22 And He subjected all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church,
23 which is His body, the fullness of Him filling all things in all.
In the human body every member knows what their functions are, and hold themselves accountable to accomplish them. They do not take glory and work at peak performance. Every member is active, and it is correspondingly offensive and defensive in their roles.
THE CHURCH IS THE CONTAINER OF ALL THAT GOD IS, HAS, AND WANTS TO DO.
Eph 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenlies in Christ,
“Hath blessed us”, is in the Greek accusative mood.
The accusative mood becomes the final goal or the recipient of an action.
THE CHURCH IS FITLY FRAMED TOGETHER
Eph 2:21 in whom every building having been fitly framed together, grows into a holy sanctuary in the Lord;
“Fitly framed together” relates to the building of the church through spiritual gifts.
Each person supplies her part to the building up of the church according to her gifting.
Each person works at a peak level of Spirit led performance.
Every joint of supply is each person effectively supplying the revelation of Jesus Christ.
The revelation of Christ is limited to the energy put forth by the quantity and quality of the “measure of supply” through each person’s spiritual gifts.
This revelation allows for the church to grow up into Jesus Christ in all things.
Growing up into the revealed Christ allows the people within church to achieve the same maturity that Christ has in the very thing that they grow fully into Him in.
THE CHURCH IS KNIT TOGETHER
Col 2:2 That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement (full and precise knowledge) of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ.
The knitting together comes as the members of the church are “fitly framed together” into a proper building through their giftings.
This will bring the church into the spiritual riches that are created by the confidence of fully understanding the accurate revelation of Christ. This is the full assurance of understanding.
THE CHURCH ALLOWS PEOPLE TO GROW INTO CHRIST
Eph 4:15 but speaking the truth in love, we may grow up in all things into Him who is the head–Christ;
The church allows for people to grow in to Christ in all things.
The more revelation of the Christ, the more that the church can grow up into Him.
When Christ is not being revealed, the church grows up into things.
THE CHURCH IS A MAN
Eph 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:
The church is the man, Christ Jesus, which internally the church grows into, and externally in the world draws all people unto the man, Christ Jesus.
SPIRITUAL GIFTS
Spiritual gifts propel His riches outside of the church.
The saints are the element in which God’s invisible riches are deposited through His mysteries, energized by His Spirit, and made known as visible riches by glory to the world.
Praise is produced through people back to God as the glory is manifested through the saints by spiritual gifts.
THE CROSS IS THE INSTRUMENT OF REVELATION AND UNITY.
As the cross kills off the old nature, the Lord Jesus is revealed in the Christian. Unity among believers, is really unity into the revelation of the same Person of Jesus Christ dwelling in each of them.
HOW IS ABUNDANCE RELEASED?
Eph 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins,( according to the riches of his grace;
8 Wherein he hath abounded toward us ( INTO US) in all wisdom and prudence;)
God’s mode of dealing with the church is abundance.
This abundance comes within the limitations of wisdom and prudence.
THE CHURCH IS THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE MYSTERY?
Eph 3:9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:
Church leaders must not only reveal the mystery of Christ, its dispositions and arrangements, but also teaches others how to participate in it. This is the fellowship of the mystery
I have been approached by people whom have presented our family with an offer to become part of a company that sells a host of different services to the community, all from on location. In other words I could become a person who could sell life insurance, mortgages, stocks, mutual funds, and bonds with proper training and licensing. The folks who visited us gave Mary and me an elaborate presentation of what their company offers, as well as the levels of participation in which we could get involved with them. We could simply purchase one or several of their services, or participate as a company partner in progressive levels of involvement, by selling the different products that would be offered to others. This is precisely what the fellowship of the mystery means. A mystery is what is unknown to us. In this case we knew nothing about the company. When these friends taught us the company presentation, the mystery was revealed and we understood what the company was all about. The fellowship of the mystery is our understanding of what our participation and levels of involvement could now be with the company.
HOW THE CHURCH FUNCTIONS IN A NUTSHELL?
- God funnels all that He has, into the church by means of His riches.
- The riches are in a mystery form inside of Christ.
- Mysteries are the doctrines of God’s patterns of His kingdom, and counsels.
- As Christ is revealed, these riches are revealed alongside with Him.
- The fullness of God is the revealed Christ.
- The revealed Christ becomes the object of the church.
- The revealed Christ becomes the foundation of the church where it builds.
- The church grows into the revealed Christ in all things.
- The external growth of the church is to thrust or propel this revealed Christ in His invisible riches outside of the church via spiritual gifts.
- The church then becomes a center of revival in the community where it is placed.
- Praise is produced through mankind back to God as His glory manifested through the church.
