“Spiritual work flows with the current of the Holy Spirit without constraint and strength of the flesh.” Watchman Nee
You need to be Pickled! What is Biblical Baptism?
In the days of Christ there was a recipe to create a “pickled” vegetable. It was said that a vegetable was BAPTISED into THE LOCATION or SPHERE of a vinegar solution. After a while, the vinegar WORKED INSTRUMENTALLY BACK through the vegetable and “pickled” it. Tofu, likewise, acquires the taste and texture of any food that it is baptized into. We can say that with whatever food the tofu is BAPTISED INTO, it is INSTRUMENTALLY influenced back by that food to make the tofu like it.
John 14:20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, (Jesus lives continually in the domain of the Father’s world and ye in me( We must be therefore located in the domain of Christ’s world), and I in you.(So that Christ can instrumentality work back through us, by pervading, influencing, and affecting.)
The Key To Miracles: Understanding the “energemas” of God.
1Co 12:6 and there are apportionments of operations “energema”, yet the same God Who is operating all in all.”
1Co 12:10 To another the working “energema” of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:
An energema is the result, the outcome, or product, of something which has been energized. It is what is tangible and clear to the human senses because it has been completed and manifested. It makes sense then, that we find energema when we discuss the miracles of God. A miracle is the result, the outcome, the tangible and visible product of an invisible model or archetype which God has in the heavenlies.
Tapping into God’s Energy By Your Spiritual Gifts
Your responsibility to find out and function in every gift, ministry, and calling within you, is the key to God’s energy in you.
Philemon 6 that the sharing of your faith may become effective (energized) in full knowledge of every good thing which is in us in Christ Jesus.
Learning to hear God’s Voice
Derek Prince compared our knowing the Lord’s will to the lining up of three buoys in a rocky channel of water .
Buoy # 1 is the written or logos Word of God. If what you and I want is not in the written Word of God, we might as well not even entertain the thought of it.
Buoy # 2 is a specific rhema word, or the voice of the Spirit concerning what we ask.
Buoy # 3 : This is always the last buoy to line up and is the one that most of the times causes us the most difficulty. This third buoy represents the timing of God rhema word. It can also be called, “obtaining the right circumstances.”
God’s Power
Eph 1:19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power (dunamis power) to us-ward who believe, according to the working (energy; energia) of his mighty (outward dominion; kratos) power (inner strength; ischus)
What is the overcasting and transcending ability ( dunamis) of the same funneled into us who continually believe according to the energy put out as external dominion power (kratos) from his internal resident strength, ( ischus).
- In the cartoons of Popeye the Sailor Man, Popeye ate a can of spinach, which gave to him inner, inherent or resident strength. The spinach is the revelation of the Son of God in us.
- The inner inherent strength that the spinach gave to Popeye is called ischus.
- This strength was manifested as bulging muscles exercised in outward dominion, or domination, which would wipe out Pluto, his archenemy.
- This strength was manifested as bulging muscles exercised in outward dominion, or domination. This is called kratos,
Holy Spirit Confidence
CONFIDENCE in the voice of God is the great catalyst of energy that releases the gifts and the power of God.
Eph 3:12 In whom we have boldness and ACCESS with confidence by the faith of him.
Confidence by faith gives us boldness with God and most important of all, ACCESS to the things of the kingdom of God. Any incremental increase in our confidence will exponentially increase ACCESS to the things of the kingdom.
Ministry by Faith
2 Cor 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
We contemplate and put our attention from moment to moment on what we cannot see with the physical eyes. For what is seen with our physical eyes have a short-lived and seasonal effect. What is seen in the Spirit however has an impact that lasts forever.
Romans 4:17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead (corpses), and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
This tells us that the nature of our God is to call forth the things, which are still not physically in existence as having the same reality and essence of things, which are in existence. This is one of the facets of faith! Abraham’s faith in God was so great, that out of corpse like circumstances, and out of things, which in reality do not exist, God made Abraham into a father of many nations and millions of people. This is called the faith of Abraham.
Hebrews 11:7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
“The things yet not seen” was what was well known to Noah, or what had a three dimensional substance to him. The physical world acquired no reality or became simply two-dimensional.
8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.
He was called was in the NOW tense.
He obeyed- A military submission to hearing”
“ He went out no knowing” Having nothing in the physical realm which was set and standing before him so that he could grasp and follow. He had no acquaintance with what God had called him to do.
27 By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.
Moses dominated and endured by seeing with discernment in the Spirit what was invisible or void of discernment in the natural or to the human eye. His substance was the voice of the Holy Spirit. The natural world was not a reality to him.
How the Power of God Flows Through You?
Luke 5:17 And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to (INTO) heal them.
Luke 6:19 And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed them all.
Ministry In the Darkness of Faith
2 Corinthians 4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
God speaks out of from a source that is rooted in the darkness of our spirits.
1 Cor 13:12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
For we spiritually see or glance through a mirror in enigmas.
Psalms 78:2 I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old:
I will speak to you as a prophet in enigmas.
Gods Anointing Flows In Proportion to His Will
Eph 1:11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
All things energizing according to the counsel of His will
1 Cor 12:11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
All things energizing according to the counsel of His will
Ministry in the Holy Spirit
Eph 3:7 Whereof I was made a minister (DIAKONOS), according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.
The minister of God as a diakonos is the believer in his or her service to God in accordance to their spiritual gifting’s, ministries and callings.
Col 1:29 Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working (ENERGY), which worketh (IS ENERGIZED) in me mightily( IN DUNAMIS POWER) .
Galatians 2:8 (For he that wrought effectually(THAT ENERGIZED) in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty(ENERGIZED) in me toward( AS I FUNNELED (His ministry) INTO) the Gentiles:)
John 7:38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
Greek- Potamos- A river, flood or torrent. A flood can sweep down torrentially and even carry houses away. How can we stop the gushing of springs or the flow of a river?
John 5:17 But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto ( My Father never ceases working in the Spirit) and I work.(and I work externally, using exactly the same procedures and in exactly the same manner in which I see instinctively the Father working within me.)Worketh is defined in exactly the same way that a company strives to be successful in producing the services for which it is in business for.
Hitherto: Until now. My Father has been continually at work, producing the services that pertain to the business of the kingdom of God in an unbroken flow, right through all of your Sabbaths; and even now as we speak, He works.
And I work: I, in like manner.
John 5:19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth (To habitually glance at what the Father does in the Spirit. This is not discernment with understanding) the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. ( Greek word “homos” )
Glancing in the Spirit to what the Father does, gives us that momentary intuitive knowledge, which on many occasions, is enough for us to step out in faith and do with identicalness what we have acquired instinctively in our spirits.
John 5:20 For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.
For the Father is fond of the Son and shows Him all things that He does in a way that can be proven and for proof, and greater than these works will he show you with the goal in His mind that you may wonder.
Romans 12:6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;
7 Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;
Greek: Ministry in the sphere of (our) ministry (Ministry must be executed in the realm of the ministry to which we have been called to; no more and no less. This is what Paul means by Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering. In other words let us minister only in the ministries that God has called us to. “The above scriptures show us the importance of knowing our ministries and being devoted to them.
Romans 12:8 Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth,(imparting) let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth,( they that are placed at the front) with diligence(with earnestness and godly haste to rule); he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness (a hilarious attitude)
He or she that is exhorting in the sphere of exhortation (He or she that are called to exhort, let them exhort with the type of exhortation that the Lord has called us to specifically perform.)
I Cor 14:3 But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification(the building up of the body of Christ), and exhortation,(encouragement , admonition, and warning) and comfort.( to persuade, arouse and stimulate into Christian action)
1 Corinthians 14:26 How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.
Greek: What is it brethren? Whenever the time may be that you assemble yourselves, each of you a psalm (hymns; a means of putting OT psalms to music) has, a teaching has, a tongue has, a revelation has, an interpretation has. All things for building up let it be done.
Prophets
Numbers 3:16 And Moses numbered them according (at) to the word (Heb: mouth) of the LORD, as he was commanded.
Numbers 3:39 All that were numbered of the Levites, which Moses and Aaron numbered at the commandment (Heb: mouth) of the LORD, throughout their families, all the males from a month old and upward, were twenty and two thousand.
If we carefully observe the two scriptures above we see Moses and Aaron executing God’s commandments in accordance to the “mouth of the Lord.”
The greatness of the prophet is his or her limitation to live by the voice of the Spirit.
Deuteronomy 4:2 Ye shall not add ( you shall not cause an addition or an exaggeration to what the Lord has spoken) unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish( subtract, withdraw, or to hold back) ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.
Num 22:18 And Balaam answered and said unto the servants of Balak, If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond ( pass over or cross over to the other side of; like crossing over a river ) the word ( Hebrew: the mouth) of the LORD my God, to do less or more.(to do the insignificant or what is great.)
19 And God came unto Balaam at night, and said unto him, If the men come to call thee, rise up, and go with them; but yet the word which I shall say unto thee, that shalt thou do.
The prophet must speak forth in the accuracy of, the intent of God’s heart, and with the same degree of intensity of what the Lord Himself speaks.
38 And Balaam said unto Balak, Lo, I am come unto thee: have I now any power(dunamis) at all(dunamis) to say (intensive) any thing? the word that God putteth in my mouth, that shall I speak ( intensive verb).
Jer 23:28 The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell (recount, rehearse and declare the dream with the accuracy, the intention of God’s heart, as well same emphasis that God had in His telling of it. Hebrew emphatic verb)) a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak (As accurately and thoroughly as God gave it to him or her; emphatic verb) my word faithfully(reliably and with certainty).
Spiritual Laws
1 Thessalonians 5:19 Quench not the Spirit.
Do not extinguish the Spirit.
Acts 18:25 This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John.
Fervent: To boil with heat, be hot `and it is used with the boiling of water. Boiling when it comes to liquids or glowing when it comes to solids.
Romans 12:11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;
Not irksome in what has to be dispatched for the Lord’s but fervent in Spirit. Bond slavery and service to the Lord must be in the glowing and boiling of the Spirit.
1 Cor 2:13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual
“Comparing” is defined as joining together, compounding, and combining. We must minister out as closely and accurately as possible to what the Lord shows us within. Our ministry must be a compounding, combining, and a joining together with the rhema word of the Spirit, the voice of the Spirit, and a compounding, combining and joining together of the means that He wishes for us to execute that rhema word, which is the voice of the Spirit.
