What Is One Of the Greatest Difficulties in the Body of Christ?

One of the greatest problems in the body of Christ is its misunderstanding of how to get the breakthrough.

One of the primary things that God is, is that He is the God of breakthrough.

Ex 15:3  The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name.

God is a God of war.

He knows that breakthrough against Satan always requires war.

God knows that victory comes with the breakthrough, and that it takes time.

The majority of the body of Christ fails to appreciate this.

Secondly, God is more than desirous to give us the breakthrough and with that, the victory in everything that He calls us to do.

The majority of the body of Christ is ignorant of this principle, and thus remains in bondage.

Thirdly, the church is ignorant of the weapons of her warfare.

These are a thorough knowledge of the Word of God.

Secondly, persevering, persistent and enduring prayers on our knees until the breakthrough comes, is probably the most important weapon.

Thirdly, faith in what God said will happen.

Most times the breakthrough comes slowly, over days, weeks, even months and even years.

The saint must discern that God IS giving the breakthrough, no matter how slow it comes.

He or she must persevere daily, weekly, monthly and even yearly on their knees cooperating with God’s Spirit until God says that the breakthrough has come.

Then the saint can move on.

Many a time during the process of breakthrough, God teaches the person many different lessons, but He remains faithful to the breakthrough.

Thirdly, is the issue of faith to believe that what God tells you will happen despite the visible circumstances.

Many a time during the process of breakthrough conditions will arise that will make the Word which God promised you seem as an impossibility.

Yet, if we remain steadfast to His Word and to God’s process of breakthrough, He will make it come to pass.

Most of God’s saints do understand then that God is the God of breakthrough.

They do not understand that God will always give them the breakthrough if they coöperate with Him, through persistency, perseverance, and endurance.

The church also does not understand the price to pay for the breakthrough.

The price of the breakthrough will usually cost her everything.

It will require unremitting obedience to every command which the Spirit of God issues.

It will require whole hearted repentance to every knowingly open door to sin.

Oh, but is it worth it at the end?  You bettcha!

Judges 3:5  And the sons of Israel have dwelt in the midst of the Canaanite, the Hittite, and the Amorite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite,

6  and take their daughters to them for wives, and their daughters have given to their sons, and they serve their gods;

7  and the sons of Israel do the evil thing in the eyes of Jehovah, and forget Jehovah their God, and serve the Baalim and the shrines.

8   And the anger of Jehovah burneth against Israel, and He selleth them into the hand of Chushan-Rishathaim king of Aram-Naharaim, and the sons of Israel serve Chushan-Rishathaim eight years;

9  and the sons of Israel cry unto Jehovah, and Jehovah raiseth a saviour to the sons of Israel, and he saveth them — Othniel son of Kenaz, Caleb’s younger brother;

The body of Christ, most of the time does not want to pay the price for the breakthrough.

My father always said; “ For everything in life there is a price to pay. The greater the thing, the greater the price!”

This is the sad and pernicious state of not only the unbeliever, but for most of the church.

The church would rather remain passive in the face of evil.

She would rather be conquered by the evil, than conquer it.

The sentiment which I hear, is “Well if I must get my head chopped for Christ and die a martyr’s death, then so be it.”

This is fine and dandy, but what about resisting the evil when it’s first perceived  through the warfare of breakthrough, so that you are not martyred and stay alive and effective for the Lord here on planet earth?

But for many, the ditty is to stay asleep until the evil has arrived and then hopefully awake.

We see this in the account of the book of Judges as stated above.

This is why I don’t believe in evolution.

Humanity has not evolved into anything better than what occurred in the book of Judges, thousands of years back.

Many others will never awake.

They will be swept by the evil, succumb to it and die in it.

What a tragic statement for the all-powerful church.

I’d rather assiduously  exercise the weapons of breakthrough when I first see Satan’s evil encroaching on the land.

I don’t know about you.

Hear the words of the Lord in Ezekiel.

Ezekiel 33: 1  Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

2  Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman:

3  If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people;

4  Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head.

5  He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul.

6  But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman’s hand.

7  So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.

8  When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
