1Jo 5:14 And this is the boldness that we have toward Him, that if anything we may ask according to his will, He doth hear us,
1Jo 5:15 and if we have known that He doth hear us, whatever we may ask, we have known that we have the requests that we have requested from Him.
Ga 3:2 This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
Ga 3:5 He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
Miracles don’t just happen when we hear the Spirit and step out in faith to obey. In addition, they occur because we know that whatever we ask God in accordance to His will, He always, always, hears and performs. So to work in God’s power is a bold combination that we ask God to do from what we hear from Him, and He in turn will always hear and do what we ask. So much is wrapped up in our ability to hear that still small voice. One prerequisite is a life of advancement towards purity. A murky life and dirty heart will muddy the crystalline waters which transport the voice of God’s Spirit. This is why the “grace only message” that we can continue to sin because Poppa will forgive us is really hogwash. The dirt that resides through your continual sinning will make you ineffective for the work of God’s kingdom here on earth, and will God say well done good and faithful servant, or will He say get away from me, for I never really knew you who honored me only with rhetoric?
Once again the Lord reminded me that the God given destiny and purpose for which He created America, will we won through prayer, or lost, through its lack thereof. An America with many regulations, much gun control, much help to the poor, but too little of God, cannot stand. The answers are in the hands of the church, who is a giant, but nevertheless a sleeping giant. If the giant wakes up America will come forth to righteousness, but it cannot come forth without the giant.
I just got a word for the body of Christ
Eph 5:16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
Redeeming, comes from the word to be in the business market place and carry out your business to the fullest. The word is exagorazo, from the word agora, which was a market gathering place.
So the times must be fully marketed out for God’s benefit.
God Himself tells us that the days are evil, make no mistake about that.
The body of Christ must not waste time and get about performing the business of God kingdom and overcome the evil of the day with the good of the kingdom. If we don’t, the little evidence of the good of the kingdom will be overcome by the evil of the present day, and many will come to regret it.
Mt 19:28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
Regeneration is the word paliggenesia, or to become again.
What becomes or has become, at one time was not.
For what becomes, must always have a starting place in becoming.
Before that starting place, what has now become, or is becoming, did not exist.
Regeneration, is the becoming of all things new.
Regeneration entails that everything that you were, ceased to be, and everything in your life now, has brand new starting points in becoming once again, but totally new.
Nothing, and I mean nothing, is the same.
All this is revealed in the revelation knowledge by which you are metamorphosed into the image of Christ through the renewing of your mind by the Word of God.
Regeneration entails that who you were, ceases to be, and what is left in you is the presence of Christ as He sits on His throne of glory.
In regeneration, you function out from the glory which emanates in you as Christ sits on His throne of glory.
The Miriam Webster Dictionary defines sclerosis as: A pathological hardening of tissue especially from overgrowth of fibrous tissue or increase in interstitial tissue;
Ro 2:5 but, according to thy hardness ( sklerotees) and impenitent heart, thou dost treasure up to thyself wrath, in a day of wrath and of the revelation of the righteous judgment of God,
Porosis, on the other hand is knitting together to form a callous.
Eph 4:18 being darkened in the understanding, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardness ( porosis) of their heart,
So a hard heart can be one plagued with either sclerosis or porosis or both.
Today, as I prayed for a world leader as I saw a third type of heart.
This one was as the dry dusty dirt evident in a drought.
A heart which had never received the eternal and bountiful waters of the Living God, and will lead others out of that drought stricken condition of his heart.
What a scary thing for you to be in a personal drought and to lead others to a place of drought!
And these others because they have been in drought, blindly follow to the place of even greater drought.
How we need the Living Waters of God’s Spirit to wash away both sclerosis and porosis, and keep our hearts from a drought stricken condition.
