Hendrix Could Have Been a Great Christian.

Christianity is not a religion.

Christianity is a new humanity.

The Christian is new in every way.

In the NT the word “new” can mean “new” by reason of age, or youthfulness. This can be a baby, a youth or a teenager.

The more popular usage for new is something novel, unique, or never seen.

You can have an old car, but it’s new because it’s never been seen. Or you can invent something that the world has never experienced.  I called this being out of the box.

Every great man and woman has lived “out of the box” in relationship to the word’s masses and their patterns.

Jesus Christ, Mahatma Gandhi, Steve Jobs and Mother Theresa are samples of out of the box humans.

Christianity is a radically out of the box civilization.

The Christian who is renewed into the image of Christ, eventually breaks out of the “merry go round” configurations of human civilization and into the “out of the box humanity” of His Maker.

Christian, if you are not steadily and gradually evolving into an out of the box human, please check your walk with the Lord.

Mt 9:17  Neither do men put “Teenage” wine into  “ Nursing Home age”  bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put “Teenage” wine into  “Out Of The Box”  bottles, and both are preserved.

Mt 26:28  For this is my blood of the “Out Of The Box” testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

Mr 1:27  And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What thing is this? What “Out Of The Box” doctrine is this? for with authority commandeth he even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him.

Mr 14:24  And he said unto them, This is my blood of the  “Out Of The Box” testament, which is shed for many.

Joh 13:34  An  “Out Of The Box” commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

Ac 17:19  And they took him, and brought him unto Areopagus, saying, May we know what this “Out Of The Box” doctrine, whereof thou speakest, is?

Ro 6:4  Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in an “Out Of The Box” life.

Ro 7:6  But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in an “Out Of The Box”  spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

2Co 5:17  Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is an  “Out Of The Box” creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become   “Out Of The Box”

Ga 6:15  For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but an  “Out Of The Box” creature.

Eph 4: 23  And be “Made Into a Teenager” in the spirit of your mind;

Eph 4:24  And that ye put on the  “Out Of The Box” man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Col 3:10  And have put on “Teenage” man, which is “ Made Out Of The Box”  in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

Re 2:17  He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a  “Out Of The Box” name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

Re 3:12  Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new  Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my “Out Of The Box”  name.

Jimi Hendrix, is the greatest rock and roll guitarist of all times.

His style was profoundly “out of the box ‘

Mind you, Jimi, tripped out much on drugs, which led to his death at thirty-three.  Part of his “out of  his boxness” was the drugs. But there is no doubt that Hendrix was a genius out of the box guitarist. He was before his time, and today, if  alive, he would be, still before his time.

Hendrix could have been a great Christian.
