What Type of Authority Do You Have?

Matt 28: 18 Jesus came to them and spoke to them, saying, “All (EVERY TYPE OF) authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth.

Jesus tells us in Matthew 28:18 that every type or sort of authority specific to all circumstances in heaven and earth has been given to Him. Because He lives in the Christian, he or she likewise, has every type of authority to be used in different conditions in heaven or earth.

The catch is that it is only exercised in accordance to the voice of the Holy Spirit.

The following scriptures tell us that as Jesus ministered, He knew what type, sort or nature of the different types of authority available in Him He would use. If He was to heal, He focused on using the authority that was specific to healing. If He was performing miracles, He used the authority specific to performing miracles.

Likewise, we need to minister in the authority particular and specific to the situation at hand. We already have every sort of authority in us. Now we need to narrow it down to the situation at hand.

Mt 21:23  And when he was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto him as he was teaching, and said, By what ( type, sort, nature,  species  or description of ) authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority ?

Mt 21:24  And Jesus answered and said unto them, I also will ask you one thing, which if ye tell me, I in likewise will tell you by what ( type, sort, nature,  species  or description of ) authority  I do these things.

Mt 21:27  And they answered Jesus, and said, We cannot tell. And he said unto them, Neither tell I you by what (type, sort, nature, species or description of) authority I do these things.

Mr 11:28  And say unto him, By what ( type, sort, nature,  species  or description of)  authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority <1849> to do these things?

Mr 11:29  And Jesus answered and said unto them, I will also ask of you one question, and answer me, and I will tell you by what ( type, sort, nature,  species  or description of )  authority  I do these things.

Mr 11:33  And they answered and said unto Jesus, We cannot tell. And Jesus answering saith unto them, Neither do I tell you by what (type, sort, nature,  species  or description of ) authority <1849> I do these things.

Lu 20:2  And spake unto him, saying, Tell us, by what ( type, sort, nature,  species  or description of ) authority  doest thou these things? or who is he that gave thee this authority <1849>?

Lu 20:8  And Jesus said unto them, Neither tell I you by what  ( type, sort, nature,  species  or description of ) authority I do these things.
