I want a Romans Seven Twenty Five aorist passive indicative mind!

Mt 8:3  And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean (5682). And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

Mt 12:13  Then saith he to the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it forth; and it was restored (5681) whole, like as the other.

The numbers 5681 and 5682 are a portion of the James Strong’s Biblical Greek verb numbering system.

James Strong, was a man who devoted his life to taking every Hebrew and Greek word in the Bible, and creating it  categorically identifiable, by assigning it a number.

In my opinion, separately from the Bible, the Strong’s Concordance is the globe’s second most important book. Every Christian should have, and know how to use The Strong’s Concordance.

There is not  much of a  difference between Strong’s number 5681 and 5682.

Both of them name a NT Greek verbal tense.

Both of them are instances of the aorist tense.

The aorist is somewhat like our past verb tense, but can also describe something which has not occurred in the future.

The aorist is the photographic tense of completion or conclusion. It’s a punctuation mark on the timeline of history. It describes an event as completed either in the past or in the future.  It does not regard the content of the event, just its completion in totality.

Both of these numbers choose the passive voice.

The passive describes action as being done to the subject of the sentence, many times, out of, or beyond the will, or the control of the subject.

When action is being done to you, instead of you doing the action, you enter a new existence or reality. We exist in the actualities of today, many times out of our control, want, or will. Many a time, we are passive subjects of the globe which we inhabit. The existences in the world, whether good or bad, many times impact us. We are their passive subjects and live in their realisms.  Hence the passive voice can describe existence.

The only difference between 5681 and 5682 is the verbal  mood. 5681 is in the indicative mood.  5682 is in the imperative mood.

The indicative mood is a statement of fact. It says that this or that will occur without doubt or fail.  It’s impossible for the thing not to be true, or not to ensue in the indicative.

The imperative is the mood of command or telling something what to do.

Jesus performed most of his ministry in the realm of 5682.

Mt 8:3  And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean (5682). And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

Mr 1:41  And Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth his hand, and touched him, and saith unto him, I will; be thou clean (5682).

Mark 7:34  And looking up to heaven, he sighed, and saith unto him, Ephphatha, that is, Be opened (5682).

35  And straightway his ears were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he spake plain.

Mr 11:23  For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed (5682), and be thou cast (5682) into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Lu 4:35  And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace (5682), and come out of him. And when the devil had thrown him in the midst, he came out of him, and hurt him not.

Lu 5:13  And he put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will: be thou clean (5682). And immediately the leprosy departed from him.

Lu 7:14  And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise (5682).

Lu 17:6  And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root (5682), and be thou planted (5682) in the sea; and it should obey you.

Jesus always commanded. If He was not sleeping or praying, He was commanding!  LOL!

This is an essential truth for our Christian life. We don’t see Jesus asking the Father to heal. We see Him speaking to the circumstances and commanding them. So must we!

The results of his commanding in the sphere of 5682 became 5681. Without a doubt, all that Jesus commanded became an undisputable result or fact. The indicative is the result of the imperative. Jesus commanded and it was done. Jesus commanded and it became reality and fact.

Mt 12:13  Then saith he to the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it forth; and it was restored (5681) whole, like as the other.

Mt 15:28  Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole (5681) from that very hour.

Mt 17:18  And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured (5681) from that very hour.

Mt 21:19  And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away (5681).

Mr 1:42  And as soon as he had spoken, immediately the leprosy departed from him, and he was cleansed (5681).

Mr 3:5  And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored (5681) whole as the other.

Mr 5:29  And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up (5681); and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.

Mr 7:35  And straightway his ears were opened (5681), and the string of his tongue was loosed (5681), and he spake plain.

Lu 8:36  They also which saw it told them by what means he that was possessed of the devils was healed (5681).

Lu 8:47  And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed (5681) immediately.

Lu 13:13  And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight (5681), and glorified God.

Lu 17:15  And one of them, when he saw that he was healed (5681), turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,

Acts 8:7  For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed (5681).

1Pe 2:24  Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed (5681).

This brings me to my conclusion.  Let’s look at the instances of 5682 again.

All of Jesus commands while the person was still sick, maimed or demonized were in the aorist passive.

In the mind and the heart of Jesus, He always foresaw the healing or deliverance as a completed event.  He saw the man’s healing which had not yet taken place  as something totally completed and concluded.  More than that, Jesus always perceived  the healing in the passive voice. He knew that His command would impact sickness and bring it into a new reality or existence of health.  When Jesus ministered to the sick, He saw the person as totally healed and remaining in that state.

God tells us, ”be it done according to your faith!”

The importance of all of this is that Jesus always ministered in completed events. He ministered knowing that whatever He commanded would manifest as a complete event with new results.  This is why Jesus saw the immediacy of miracles. A completed event plus a new existence equals immediacy of results.

Jesus did not come to earth as God but as man. He came in this mode to guarantee that we would have the same and equal access to the things of the Spirit of God which He had. He came as the “son of man” (anthropos) or the son of humanity.  We as humans can do exactly what Jesus did, if we are willing to drink His cup and pay His price of obedience.

The problem is not the devil. It’s our unrenewed minds. My theory is that our minds must be renewed until we see all that we ask for as completed and concluded happenings in a new existence that conforms to the work of Jesus on His cross where He reconciled every event to the Adamic nature before the arrival of sin.

My quest is to study, pray and renew my mind into a Romans seven twenty-five aorist passive indicative mind. It’s not easy. It will cost me everything. But do I say that it’s worth it? “Ye, and Amen!”

Romans 7:25  I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
