Exodus 8:5 Yahweh said to Moses, “Tell Aaron, ‘Stretch out your hand with your rod over the rivers, over the streams, and over the pools, and cause ( Hiphil imperative) frogs to come up on the land of Egypt.’”
The Hiphil Hebrew verb tense is the causative tense, or one in which the subject causes something to occur. The imperative mood is one of command.
In this verse God tells Moses…”You cause the frogs to come up!”
So many times we ask God to do this and that for us, when God waits for us to cause it to ensue. We have the authority by the voice of God. Today, cause what you need to happen by God’s voice.
