Indicative of, conducive to, or promoting good health.
There have been physical ailments that I have struggled for many years. In my case, as I suspect is for most Christians, mine has been mostly issues of sin.
Everybody has a sin which they love. I have not been exempt. My healing has come in proportion to repentance. Some sins are so intricate and intertwined with heart and mind that the process of repentance is as the shedding of the skin of an onion.
I felt that I had finally come close to repentance in my particular sins. Yesterday, God met me with this scripture and my answer
Joh 5:14 Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole (Healthy)sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.
As I read the verse in context, it dealt with an account of a diseased man.
From this scripture it’s obvious that his disease was the consequence of sin. I was stunned that of the fourteen NT instances of “hugies”, six are found in John five. All six relate to disease caused by sin.
Joh 5:14 Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole (Healthy) sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.
When Jesus presented me with John 5:14, it came as a rhema word. I knew now, that I could be made healthy after many years of praying and repenting. But Jesus, warned me “sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.”
I thought back at the many years that I struggled with infirmity because of loving sin. I do not want something worse to come upon me.
Do you have infirmity, sickness or disease that you are not able to rid yourself of?
Talk to God and see if there is sin which you love. The Christian already has eternal life. This life is healthy, whole and pure. But where there is sin, it will hinder its revelation.
Remember that nearly fifty percent of the instances of being healthy, in the NT are locked up with the consequence of sin.
