THIS BABY WAS GIVEN AS AN OFFERING TO US.
Mary and I were teaching a conference in Ugunja, Kenya. Ugunja is located in Siaya District, home to Mr. Obama’s family. At the end of the conference, the senior pastor exhorted the people to bring us an offering. As the band worshiped in the Luo language I closed my eyes and lifted my hands to God. As the worship ended I opened my eyes. Lo and behold, this baby laid at my feet. I was stunned, not knowing what happened. It came to be that one mother present had nothing to offer but her only child. It kind of reminded what the Father did in giving Jesus. We found the mother, blessed the child, and gave him back to her.
